 lego star wars/ps 2 Do not have time to sit down with my son and figure out how to's. All he wants to do is get a jedi! I don't understand free play? And how do you enter cheat codes???????? How do you buy characters????? Please give me basic skills to help him. thank you T Welch      |

| Re: lego star wars/ps 2 Free Play is basically that- you are free to run around the stage doing whatever, no mission objectives. After you complete each stage in Story mode you can go back to that stage anytime in Free Play using any characters you have unlocked (which comes in handy for finding some minikit cannisters). You unlock them just by completing the levels you see them in (for example, you get Ben Kenobi after finishing the Mos Eisley stage). How to enter codes depends on which ones you mean- some cheats just require you to hit a certain sequence on the controller. This game does have a large number of codes, however, that are entered when you approach the counter of the Mos Eisley cantina or Dexter's Diner. You'll see the option to Enter Code among the choices. Here is the complete list of codes/ tips we have so far. You can buy certain bonus characters at the bar in the cantina where you enterthe various levels. More will be available asyou go through the game- just select that when you are at the counter and scroll through the selections and hit X to buy if you have enough Lego Studs, the currency of the game. |

| Re: lego star wars/ps 2 Thanks. But some cheat codes are alpha-numeric. How do you enter them? Or are the disks behind the bar where you find and set the codes??? He has played the cantina forever and can't get past it, so what do you have to do to get to the next level?? |

| Re: lego star wars/ps 2 The short alphanumeric codes are entered in the level hub that looks like the inside of the cantina. Walk up to the bar and select "enter code". Then it's just using the D-pad to select the letters/numbers and hit X when done. |
