 Unlocking the parental control Trying to play DVD in playstation 2. Somehow the parental controls are set, I do not know the password to take the parental controls off, trying to change the password and it is asking for a password to change the password. Please provide instructions. Thank you      |

| Re: Unlocking the parental control o to the parental controls in the Settings when you have a DVD in (looks like a toolbox). When you get in here it should ask for the password- the default reset password should be 7444. Put that in and it should let you get to the controls itself to turn it off. |
