Hi There, I hope someone can help me. I have a PS2, and I am trying to use the Eye Toy with the Dance Factory game. The Dance Factory instructions say to "Move your hand in the area of the Start icon - the number will count down, then the main game display will appear and the track will begin". I see the number 3, but I don't see any kind of Start icon. No matter how much I move my hands, the number never counts down, so I am not able to use the Eye Toy. I use the Eye Toy with Dance Dance Revolution and it works fine, so it isn' a problem with the Eye Toy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

had to do a bit of digging around in Codemasters' site to find a possible solution. How light is the area behind you when trying to play? the game seems to need a somewhat high contrast for the eye toy to work properly. If possible try in an area that has a somewhat dark background and have plenty of light in the room.

Hi Lyndon, Thanks for posting a response so quickly. The lighting doesn't seem to be the problem as the room is quite bright. I did notice that the Dance Factory instructions say that in additio to the person shaped outline there should also be a Start icon. I see the person shaped overlay, but no start icon. There is a circle with a #3 in it, so that is the timer that should count down. Since there is no Start icon, the counter never starts. Any other ideas why there is no Start icon? Thanks!

That circle with the number in it is the start icon, going by what I found over at Codemasters' site. Wile it's good your lighting is ok one thing I wondered about is the background of where you are playing. If it is a light color and you are wearing light enough clothing the game may not be able to pick you up.
