This may sound stupid but I can not get past the first boss Dran. I pressed x too many times and missed what the Spirit King said. Any help would be appreciated.

Give this a try:

Dran flies around constantly, so you need to ground him. *Switch to Xiao and maneuver around until you can get a good shot at Dran, then fire off a single shot. *

Dran will immediately look for a place to land and rest, so keep an eye on him and get in close. *

Switch to Toan and use his special leaping slash on Dran while he's stunned. *Continue this until Dran gives up.

Don't feel bad SpeedDemon, I had difficulty with him too. *Just wait till you meet the IceQueen. *Holy crud was she hard to beat.

As for Lucifer's advice, it is the best way to beat it as far as I know now. *With many of the bosses coming up you will need to use the newest allies that signed up to the party. *(except Goro, he's pretty useless)
