| Those cheats with both letters and numbers in them are most likely codes for the GameShark or Pro Action Replay- third party devices that allow you to alter aspects of the game to make things easier (or harder). If you do not have this then the codes you are looking at are useless to you. |

| What Lyndon stated is true, they are, usually, what is called an Action Replay or GameShark Pro code. These codes consist of numbers 0-9 and then letters A-F which is what is known as Hexidecimal (as opposed to decimal which is just numbers 0-1264893653 etc etc for an infinite amount). The letters represent the numbers 10-15 A=10 B=11 etc etc until F which is 15. However, if you see a cheat that says something like "heroforever", then that is usually a kind of "password" code that you enter into a Codes Page (usually found under the Options menu) of the game the code is stated for. I hope that fully explains it for you TAURILEE Jay |

| Dang Jay, I had posted something but then I read yours. Last edited by LEPRECHAUN : 09-23-2007 at 12:17 AM. Reason: Didn't read entire thread before posting. Jay blew my theory out of the water. |

was talking about numbers like this: R1(2), L1(2), X(2) Stuff like that. But your explanation was, I guarantee, the right one. |
