Question Spyro A Hero's Tail

Ok - I'm an older adult who is addicted to the PS2 - specifically Spyro games but I enjoy many others. Funny, huh? It relaxes and unwinds me after a day on my very stressful job.......go figure.....

Anyway I am stuck in Spyro A Hero's Tail - in the Coastal Remains - one of the areas (a little bay) has 6 poles for Spyro to spin on going off to the left from the entry platform.......Three of them are moving and the idea - I assume is to pole-spin to the final moving pole and jump off to reach a pillar which allows access to a other pillars, one of which has a cannon.

I've spun Spyro on these poles every which way and cannot get him on the
last pole to launch him to the pillar.

Is there a trick to this?

Am I totally lame?: - Hermit 826

Default Re: Spyro A Hero's Tail

Nothing odd about it- I'm a fan of the platformers as well and the Spyro games were one of my faves (although most of the PS2 games were a far cry from the PSOne predecessors)

Once you are at the third pole ttry to time your jump so that the next is just short of the closest point toward you and you should make it.
