 Spyro: A New Beginning Yes, well it's the same lame older adult type - having problems with another game..... This is going to sound totally insane but I can't get the stupid purple dragon out of the swamp cave at the very beginning.......he wipes out all the monster types and then gets kind of lost and is unable to get through to the outside...... Maybe no one else ever plays the Spyro games....for me it's like therapy....but I could use some help here.       |

 Re: Spyro: A New Beginning I'm going to guess this is at the first save point, where you first meet up with the soldiers and their dynamite-tossing leader. You should see a slope going up to your left- head up here and you will find a new enemy, the Bulb Spider. Not exactly a major threat here, just a bit tougher than the Frogweeds. Once he is taken care of follow the path and glide over the gap. |

| Re: Spyro: A New Beginning It's past that - Spyro takes care of allthe warriors who are out in the cave - including the spiders.....then goes into an area where there is no light - and they have to jump from formaton to formation - when Spyro and Sparkx are in the dark......maybe this is totally off the path out - but that is where I end up every time.....  |

| Re: Spyro: A New Beginning This must be the area just after meeting Ignitus then? Once you are on the top of the platforms you should see a place to your right to glide to. This leads you to another cave. You'll be prompted to use the tail Strike here, after which you get attacked by waves of spiders. Once they are defeated you will see two statues- walk into them to shove them into place, which will be indicated by a light. You'll leap up Ignitus's back and into a cave above. Smash the gem cluster on the left to get some free gems then move along through to an opening where you'll find a few monkeys to kill. Once they're gone, push the statue here into place. Walk into the dark cave on the left and kill the Bulb Spiders inhabiting it. Push the second statue into place and carry on through the cave to the left. Smash a couple more gem clusters and jump over the pit of thorns to get to a door at the other end, you're back with Ignitus. |
