WOW, a professional footballer wanting help with his playstation 2 football game, there's one for the books 
Anyway, first thing first...is it just your FIFA game that's having trouble with the right analog stick or is it any game you play? If it's any game then it's more than likely the controller itself, and I suggest you try another controller.
If, however, the controller works perfectly for every other game except your FIFA game then it could just be something to do with the controller setup for that particular game. Have you tried altering the controls on the game? Maybe swapping it will provide a remedy to your situation? You could also, perhaps, try a different controller and see if the same problem occurs (preferably one that you know works 100%).
If none of those answers solve your problem then maybe someone else ehere can think of some other answers.
The only other answer I can think of is that there is something wrong with the game itself, but I find that difficult to believe as it's only that problem that you have mentioned. Is that the only problem you are having with this game? If it is then it can't be the game. If, however, there are other things wrong with the game, like constantly crashes or whatever, then it is probably the game itself. If that is the case, I suggest taking it back and either swapping for another copy or get a full refund back.
