Yes, you need to ring both bells at the same time to crack the face of Lahkesis. Then, use the battering ram to smash a hole in her face!

While you are there, there are two secret areas that can only be accessed by the battering ram. They are off to the rear of either side. You must run along the battering ram as it circles around the back and jump/glide to reach these areas!

No worries about the spelling!

Yes! An easy way to do it is to stand in front of the bell on the right, press R1 to grab the bell then alternate R1 - L1 until the bell rings. As soon as it rings, activate the Amulet of Fates to slow time. With time slowed, you can leap and glide far enough to hit the grapple point, which will pull you up to the platform. From there you can use the ram to ring the other bell (which should already be pointed at the left bell.)
