 ps2 disc tray issue hi everybody, i have ps2 of the non slim model.. my disc tray opens about third way then close back for few times everytime i press the eject button.. seems like something got out of it's place.. i think i need to remove the disc tray out.. does anyone know how to solve this problem?      |

| Re: ps2 disc tray issue It's going to take some disassembly to fix things up, amird. The problem is the track the PS2's disc tray is on. If you aren't comfortable doing this sort of thing yourself you should find someone that is. You should be able to find someone selling the replacement parts via a Google search for "playstation 2 parts". |

| Re: ps2 disc tray issue Usually it's a matter of something breaking on the drawer slide mechanism and it sticks where there is a fragment left. When you do go about opening it up you will probably see rather quickly where the problem is. |
