No- to connect the PS2 to the internet you will need to use a wired connection. To go wireless you will need to buy another device, the Linksys Wireless Gaming Adapter as well as have a wireless router in place for it to connect to.

It's $150 at Amazon- I'm guessing you won't want to spend quite that much. I would suggest going with a wired connection using ethernet cable.
