 Re: help my ps2 cant read disc My slim model 70011 used to play gran turismo 4. All of a sudden it stopped playing gt4 specifically. But it plays every other game that i play. It makes a "skipping" noise. "Why will it only play every other game except gt4?" I know gt4 is old now but I still like to play it a lot". I'm still saving up for ps3>5!      |

| Re: help my ps2 cant read disc Sounds like the problem is in the disc itself, not the console. Check the bottom for any possible dirt and give it a wipe with a soft cloth, going from the center of the disc to the outer edge- don't wipe around following the grooves. The "skipping" noise makes me think the disc may have somehow got a slight twist/ warp to it or is just not sitting in the system properly somehow. |
