 I need help! I was given a used playstation for my birthday and havent had to use the movie player until today. I tried to use the 7444 code to change the password but it didnt work either. Is there anything you can tell me to do or anything that can be done I just want to watch a dvd. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give me.      |

| Re: I need help! You may want to ask the person that gave you the PS2 about the password as it was most likely set by him/ her. It's unusual that the 7444 would not let you bypass like it should- to my knowledge Sony never did change this in the later models. |

| Re: I need help! The previous owner would have definitely set the code. What you input when you first have to use the code is what is used on the system in the future, i think. |
