 ps2 freezing I have a ps2 scph-30001. A couple of years ago it started freezing during gameplay. I tryed cleaning the laser but no luck. I sent it to G2K games and they told me it was probably something with the motherboard. I've decided to give it another try. Any ideas what could be wrong with it?      |

| Re: ps2 freezing They may be right about it being in the motherboard. Your best bet would be to contact Sony about repairs- it will cost you a bit of cash but they would be able to get it working just like new. |

| Re: ps2 freezing Unless you are rather handy yourself at replacing electronic components on a motherboard there would not be much you could do yourself. It would be something on the "mo bo" or the DVD drive itself. Either way, you would be better off contacting Sony about repairs. |
