My friend has a memory card with a cube on it which says "corrupt data". He can't delete it and it is stopping him from loading data. How can he get rid of it?

You said he can't delete it? If that's the case then the disk may have to be reformatted which would delete everything on the card. If you're still able to copy to other MCs and you happen to have one(which you probably don't) then you should copy the data you want to keep onto another card before doing it. To format there should be a format or a delete all function(though i can't remember exactly). Heck, now that i think about it you may not be able to format the disk which would mean you'd have to get a new card. Oh, and this corrupt data isn't supposed to be the save that your friend is trying to load is it? If so then there's no way to get that save back. I have had corrupted data before but i've always been able to delete it. Well, i hope that you enjoy posting andh ave fun gaming.

Corrupted data, have experienced it many times.

Seen it after saving photos taken in MGS 2: sons of liberty.

Have seen it after downloading data off an OPM disc.

All corrupted data isnt that bad, I think its just that the PS2 cant read it so its only option is to leave it Corrupted, which isnt really meaning its corrupted and wont work, so I guess you just have to guess if its really screwed up data(which I havent ever gotten yet) or just some data the PS2 cant read.
