 It's scheduled for a mid-November release but there's no set releae date as of yet. It's also scheduled to be priced at $145 and to use the Sony network adapter you'll need to have the HDD to connect it. Well, hope that you enjoy posting and have fun gaming. :thumbsup: |

| Web surfing can be done as well,speed.Sony made a deal with AOL for a customized version of the Netscape browser as well as agreements with other companies to allow compatibility with Java,Flash,RealAudio,etc.Don't expect to do much multiplayer gaming right away-I read a timeline in a magazine (may have been PSM) which pointed to early 2002 for the network to be set up for gaming. |

 The HDD will allow you to store information(any kind), download FAQ's off the net, and loading times for certain games will go faster. Im purchasing this product ASAP:grin1: |

| The HDD will allow for storage but just not game saves right now. None of the games have this feature built-in and many in the future may not use it. You will be able to download MP3s and strategy guides and get cheats. Well, I hope that you all enjoy posting and have fun gaming. :thumbsup: |
