Today i was playing metal gear solid 2 and i have not got a memory card yet. I was playing for 8 hours straight and then when i reached the part when i had to cover E.E when she was crossing the oil fence, she was near the third tower and i think a cinamatic was going to come up because a black screen appeared then nothing happened just a black screen.

Is it because of the ps2 overheating or is it because there is a glitch in the ntsc american version of mgs2???? or what else could it be???

[SIZE=2]Most likely it was due to a bit of overheating.It's not a good idea to play that long in a stretch (8 hours? I hope the washroom was nearby * ).It's recommended to take a break after about an hour of gaming to lessen the strain on both the systems and your eyes.Get yourself a memory card as soon as you can to avoid this happening again.
