 PS2 won't read even with new laser I replaced the laser on this unit (KHS-400C laser) but it still won't read the disc. It will spin it but won't read it. I replaced the cable between the laser and the motherboard without success. Can some other hardware issue cause this problem besides the lens ? Thank you.      |

| Re: PS2 won't read even with new laser It's possible there is something wrong with one of the chips on the board itself- if that is the case there is nothing you can do other than retrieve the parts you put in and chuck the defunct system. |
