Default Accessory help

A nice kid with a nice mom needs a left-handed controller for the old gray box (PS-1, remember those?). The kid is playing old games because money is tight for them. I've kicked-down some old games and I'd really like to help them out. Any ideas? Did a left-handed controller ever exist?

Thanks in advance.

JM

I seem to recall a one-handed controller that was designed for those with disabilities but nothing that was made for the southpaw gamers. That other controller may have been in very limited numbers (or never got off the drawing board).
