 Ver. 12 laser Repl. problem I just replaced my laser lens and when I try to load a game the system tries to read the disc for a second then stops. Also the laser doesn't go to the back but goes forward.      |

| Re: Ver. 12 laser Repl. problem That replacement laser hasn't been installed quite right, apparently. A local electronics repair shop may be able to help you out. |

| Re: Ver. 12 laser Repl. problem I was able to put the old one back in but it only plays PS1 games. The disks wont spin with the new laser. Its strange the old laser PS2 games won't spin either but PS1's will. |

| Re: Ver. 12 laser Repl. problem I read that you have to remove some electrostatic protection before the lens will work but I've dont see anything that seems to need to be removed. |
