Hi,
I have a strange PS2 Disc Read Error problem, I have tried the usual fix of cleaning the laser and adjusting the laser height however that does not work.

What is strange is that the PS2 will only attempt to read silver DVDs which it cannot. When I try CDs or Purple DVDs in the console the disc drive does not even spin.

Also when I turn the cog that adjusts the height of the laser past a certain point, the console won't attempt to read any discs any discs at all, by that I mean it does not even spin.
