Default ps2 is being a pain
well the thing is i got a old ps2 and it was over heating so i cleaned out the fan and it plays ps1 games but not ps2 can someone help me plz

Good idea to clean the fan every so often. Many never think of doing something simple like that.

The lens for playing DVDs may be dirty as well or out of alignment, making it unable to read the PS2 games. You could try getting a DVD lens cleaning kit and use that as a first step. If, after that, it still doesn't work then you may have more serious problems going on inside and may need to have it looked at.
