 hookin my ps2 online I've been tryin to hook my ps2 online but its not workin. In the top right corner it says not connected. When i try to test my connection, it seems like it freezes, but wen i click cancel it disconnects. My college told me tat im usin a lan connection and i wrote down all the ip addresses nd information. Can u help me  ?     |

| Re: hookin my ps2 online No, you shouldn't need a router unless you are planning to share that LAN connection with a laptop or other computer. The only thing i can think of is your college may have certain ports blocked which is preventing your PS2's online to work properly. You may want to check with them about the following ports: • TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223, and 10070 - 10080 • UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070 Those are the ones that need to be open to play online with PlayStation products. |
