Default downloading game settings problem
i never had this problem but after the new update on cod4 i been having this problem everytime i try to go online down loading game setting pops out what can i do to stop this

According to Activision's knowledge base this can be caused by data packet loss. They suggest the opening of ports on the router (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare uses ports 3658, 3478, 3074, 3075 (UDP) and ports 80, 443, 5223 (TCP) ) or putting the PS3 into the router's DMZ, which will bypass the need of opening any ports.
