hi i am currently in america and i was wondering if i bought the new call of duty. would it work back home in the uk

It would but if you were planning on grabbing any of the add ons you would have to get those from the US PlayStation Store. The downloadable maps and other items are geared specifically to the version of the game. The add-ons from the UK store would only work for the UK disc.
