 Need help on internet connection I just bought a ps3 to play online and im running a arris router through suddenlink and it is wired to the ps3 ethernet i can get a IP address but no internet connection this thing is driving me nuts i have no idea of setting this thing up      |

| Re: Need help on internet connection I did a quick search for Arris and mostly came up with telephony modems, not routers. What is the model number on the Arris? It should be on the front. |

| Re: Need help on internet connection Ok- that is actually a modem, not a router. Sounds like you have the basic hook up as it should be- you likely just need to add some settings to your PS3's connection file such as DNS servers, default gateway, etc.- you will need to contact your internet provider to get those numbers. |
