 Re: internet connection via modem ethernet cable? When doing a direct connection to the modem you will need to turn the modem off each time you switch the ethernet cable between the computer and the PS3. That should fix things up for you- still, it would be an idea to enter in the DNS server numbers to your settings as well. You can get these from your ISP tech support.      |
