 PS3 Hard Crash, help! I popped in Assassin's Creed, let the system update and played for a good hour, when suddenly the system just turned itself off. I flipped the power switch and it turned on for a second before shutting down again (no messages) and now it won't turn on at all. I have tried replacing the power cord, using a different socket, etc. to no avail. Is there any quick fix for this or should I just return the unit?       |

| Re: PS3 Hard Crash, help! Time to give Sony a call- it's possible the hard drive or something else inside has crapped out on you. If you are still under warranty they will exchange it at no charge (you'll need your receipt). They'll even send you the box (referred to as the "coffin" by some) to send it back in. |
