Default obtain ip address timed out
im trying to hook up my ps3 to the internet through my sprint air card. i have it hooked up with a eithernet cable and i have the firewall turned off on my lap top. what can i do to get this going?

You would also have to turn internet connection sharing on in your computer. I can't say exactly how it's done myself as I haven't read up on it much myself but a quick Google search will turn up all sorts of pages saying how it's done.

it said its shared but still dont work. could i just buy a wireless router and then it will work?

Yes, a wireless router would be the easier way to go plus you wouldn't need to have your laptop running at the same time.
