my headset not working and i don't know why any help eould be very much appreciated. it's a official ps3 communicator headset?

First off, anything from Datel is not official. This is an unlicensed peripheral.

The PlayStation 3 is set up to use a bluetooth headset for wireless talking- the Datel is not bluetooth. I do have a headset here but it isn't that one- I use a rather inexpensive bluetooth headset originally meant for cel phones.

Did it work prior to 1.7 update?

I just found out non of my wireless devices [bluetooth] work since update.
