I have been trying without success to set up a programme called mycastorb to allow me to stream my media centre content through my PS3 and TV.

I have it set up on the pc however the ps3 doesnt wat to let me sign in
can anybody help or are there any other alternatives to allow me to do this ?

I have a rather complicated setup to stream vids from pc downstairs to ps3 in order to stream the vids... it works by converting the vids you wanna stream to FLVs and broadcasting them using the apache webserver however this way will require some pretty in depth knowledge of your router and also some pretty expensive software!

however the easiest way to do it, is to download a prog by apache, which will create a web server (that couples as an http download source on your PC)

Follow this link Download - The Apache HTTP Server Project > setup the software (follow the steps) > now go into the web server directory (default is your %harddrive%:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs now place MP4 files in here and download them from the PS3 by pointing your PS3's internet browser at http://%PCS IP Address% and if you have setup correctly you will see the MP4 files there (you may need to delete the index.htm file from HTDocs if you see a webpage as apposed to a list of files)
