I have a new ps3 and everything works on it, but it will not load games or movies. please help me out on what to do. Thank you, Shane

Not being able to load games or movies doesn't sound much like everything is working to me. :huh:

I have to ask, is the PS3 you bought made for North America? I ask this seeing as you are in the US- if you are trying to play DVDs or PS2 games made for North America on an imported system (say, one made for the Japanese market) they will not work due to region coding.

If this is a North American PS3, what model is it (40 GB, 60 GB, 80 GB)? Also, what games and movies are you trying?
