When I am at home I connect my ps3 to my TV with an HDMI cable, but when I go back to school I use the av cables that came with the ps3. The ps3 doesnt automatically recognize whether an hdmi cable or av cable is plugged in, is there any way I can unplug it from the hdmi cable at my house and go right to my dorm room and plug it in with the av cables and have it recognize the difference? This would save me from buying another hdmi cable or going back home with my av cables and changing the settings.
