so i worked it out......i feel so lame i needed sleep at the time so i came back to it later n it was piss easy!! juss gotta watch which tentacle gets higlighted and zap it then attack the one in the middle .... h34r:" class="inlineimg" /> easy

Another way of defeating the tentacles is to look at the number of thorns on each one,then start with the least number of thorns and work through to the one with the most, then you can defeat the one in the middle
