I have a problem. I just left a town that was made up of boats and went into a forest found a pink dude fed him food and according to alot of walkthroughs I found on the net thats all I need to do to get the next area. but it's not there what's up with that?

You should go on through the forest and there should be a new town that is actually a big tree.
