First of Jason can you post with CAPS LOCK OFF, as it's against forum rules.

As for your problem i also find it hard finding cars that allow Displacement, probably because i know didly squat about cars and GT2 ;)

Majik, Squanto or one of the other GT2 junkies would know the answer to this one, try posting in the Specialist GT2 Section where you'll get a better response.

I believe it's something to do with the fact that you can't increase the displacement AFTER you've done a natune or something like that! You can only do one or the other, at least thats what i think! But probably completely wrong. Because they both involved increasing the RPM or doing something with it!

I have spent hours on GT2 and have/owned over 200 cars and none of them I have been able to displace the engine, I have no idea why it's an option.

altering the displacement is an option because sometimes you come across a car which you can do it to.

if you click the link in my previous post in thread it will take you to a thread where displacement was discussed and there is a list of cars there which can have their displacement altered.

Majik, since the servers moved that link doesn't work anymore, so go to this link for the thread about displacement, it seems only the Honda and Nissan allow displacement.

The only car i could find or have come across is the Nissan Skyline. Displacement is nothing special. Its just like port&polish or engine balancing so dont get excited.

Increased displacement involves using a milling machine to improve the cc rating of a car. By effectively boring out the cylinders, you can increase for aexample a 2600 cc godzilla skyline to 3200cc.

This is an expensive exercise but increases power, and more noticeably torque in the car. I know this becasue modified Japanese cars are 10 a penny here in NZ, and you often see 2500 cc turbo skylines bored out to 3200 cc for more grunt and torque.

Not all engines will allow it, I know in GT1 the only car you can do this to is the nissan skyline.
