for the version u have

Taking into account the PAL and Jap versions, there are 6 versions of GT2, NTSC has 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and greatest hits. The latter is very confusing, codes appear to vary.

With the other 3 versions, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2, you can tell by the money code :

801D 0FC8 E0FF
801D 0FCA 05F5 * *Version 1.0


801D 1338 E0FF
801D 133A 05F5 * * Version 1.1

* * * * * * * * * * *

801D 156A 05F5 * *Version 1.2

Obviously which ever one gives you a heap of dollars will determine your version.

The cheats have worked for me, they unlock all licences and unlimited cash, check out the link below for the GameShark codes i used, there are several versions of the game

Look near the bottom for the gameshark codes, you do have Gameshark and not explorer right......

You know what, I figured out that I have Vrs. 1.2, but the codes that I try under it, don't give me all the licenses? *Does anyone know a sure code for V1.2 that will give me all the gold licsences for each licsence level?

most of the gameshark codes for this game won't work. so you may have to play the game without cheats. it all depends on the version you have. because i live in Australia my version might be different to yours. :idea:
