Default loading screen
I just bought a used playstation 1. When I put a disc in, it spins and whatnot. The playstation loads the first screen, with the white background, but then gets stuck on the second second screen, that has a black background and says playstation on it. What is going on here? Is there any way to fix it? Thanks!

Sounds like that used PSOne you picked up may not have a working laser unit- that PSOne load screen that comes up first is built into the hardware. You'll want to scout around for a place that can do repairs or 9if feeling brave0 check the internet for PSOne parts to replace it yourself.
