 PS1 no longer spinning My son got his hands on a PS1 from a friend of his and started playing Final Fantasy VII, and has gotten really into it. Today, he turned on the console, and the disc doesn't turn. The power light is on, it reads the memory card, its just not spinning. It worked last night. Any help is much appreciated.      |

 Re: PS1 no longer spinning Hard to say what could be causing that without actually being able to look at it firsthand- it's possible the CD drive in it may have simply died out or something has happened to the small switch that is triggered when the lid is down, allowing the drive to spin. |
