We don't recommend or endorse doing this sort of thing to be able to use homebrew, FreeZa- too many possibilities of bricking your PSP if something should go wrong and then you are out the system altogether.

Once you've downloaded a firmware, legally you cant go back to the previous version. It tells you this before you install the firmware.
