Default PSP problem

My son has a PSP. The PSP does turn on but no images will come onto the screen. Once you turn the power on it stays on and will only turn off if you take the whole battery out. So basically, you could look at a blank screen as long as the battery is working if you want to. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Default Re: PSP problem

Not even a splash screen when powering up? I think your son's PSP has been completely bricked. The only fix for this is to contact Sony and ask about sending it in for repair/ replacement. If it's under a year old and you have the receipt you'll be covered under warranty- otherwise, you will be looking at a charge of about $80.
