Question used psp wont play games
like an idiot i guess, i got a used psp from ebay and after updating and charging battery and buying memory stick and brand new game, cant get it to work. Acts like reading disc but icon never shows up under games.
Any tips or am i really screwed? (have bought from ebay before and it was great!!)

Sounds like the problem is in the laser itself, considering it does power up and you can access the menu. Contact the seller to see what he will do- if he can't/ won't do anything you will have to contact Sony about having a look at it (which would be another $60 or so).
