Hi - I'm new to this forum trying to help my son who has original PSP that's several years old (out of warrenty). It's worked fine until just recently. Sympton is that the green indicator light stays on all the time, but powering on (via switch) does not do anything (i.e. PSP will not come on). Having read forums, I haven't found problem with this exact description (green light on but nothing works) otherwise I would suspect switch, etc. Behavior is same even when on charger so I would assume the battery is not the problem? Before I resort to contacting Sony, I thought I would check here to see if there's anything else that I should try before resorting to paying Sony for repair. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
