The Game Icon Is Missing Under The Joystick , Can Not Play Games Ever Thing Else Works Music, Web, Etc ... Called Sony And The Just Want To Sell Me Another Unit,,,, Any Way To Rest/reload

Try to update your psp to the newest software(firmware)
you'll get an icon called (PSN) and maybe you'll get a new icon for the game mode

the latest version doesn't have a PSN mode ?
meybe the motherboard is currupted?
did you get a warrenty when you bought the PSP?

Sounds to me like the PSP isn't detecting the discs any more. There is a small switch inside that triggers the drive when a UMD is there- if this is broken or something has happened to the PSP's laser this would account for the problem. The PlayStation Network icon should be at the very end of your menu- if you don't see that there then something is seriously amiss with your PSP and you should send it in to Sony.
