Unhappy PSP can't detect wireless

Hi!!

I'm having problems with my psp! I'm unable to get onto the internet at all. it's not the wireless as friend with psp can get on it fine. It comes up with an error msg saying access point not detected. the WLAN switch is on and have gone through the trouble shooting section in book and nothing has helped.

Default Re: PSP

Go into your PSP's network settings and redo the settings completely. You may also want to make some changes in the router's settings to have it assign a certain IP address to your PSP (this is done in DCHP).

If, after this, the PSP still does not detect your wireless you may want to contact Sony- something may have happened to the wifi components inside.
