LiveChat Is Back!

Good news everyone! The LiveChat chat room is back in action!

No more messing around with IRC programs or links to sites outside of our own- just click on the LiveChat in the menu along the top of the forums to go straight into the chat area under your forum name.

We'll be using this for our weekly chats on Sundays- the room will be available at allt times, however, if any of you want to have a talk with other members or staff. You will need to have your Flash plug in up to date in your browsers- if it's not it will say and lead you to the update.

Our weekly chats will be at 5 PM eastern/ 1 PM pacific/ 10 PM UK time. Hope to see you there!

It's great. Just joined in, talked to Jim and Melinda. Will it only work for registered members? I say this because I see we have some 1000+ people currently on the forum, and they are all guests.

It works great though, I love the chat logo. Hope to see you all in there.

Yes, it is members-only at the moment (one of the perks of membership ). Guests checking things out will get a link to sign up underneath the username/ password blanks that will come up - members get signed in automatially if they are signed into the forums already.

Im glad we got one of these types of chat rooms back. The irc chatrooms were a bit confusing for me, lol.

I had it simplified about as much as I could before, Mike- just had to click a link, put your forum name in the blank that came up and click a button to go to the chat. Nothing too confusing about that. Still, it is great to see this chat back again. Now we'll be able to set up special sessions for helping new members and such again.

Okay I have a bug to report here God Squad,
I can get into the chat just fine...
but once I'm in I can't type ANYTHING.

So being in the Livechat for me is essentially useless as of right now.

It did the same thing to me at times, Mel- a refresh of the page fixed things up.

Yeah, that's the idea N.O.B.. Fact is our 'Livechat Nights' have frankly disappeared over the last few months. I don't know why this is the case? Anyway, i'm up for a revival of the 'Livechat Sunday's'....!
