Weekly Newsletters Coming Soon!

I just wanted to let everyone know that very soon you will start seeing weekly newsletters coming to your e-mail inbox. Those newsletters will include various news items, feature stories on games, release dates and links to other items on the site. We may even run a contest or two evey so often through it.

So, keep your eyes peeled for the first issue!

Sounds great. I always thought it was a missed opportunity, I look forward to the newsletters. Will they be text only, or pictures as well? That'd be cool.

Don't quote me on this Mcw, but I believe they're at least partially full html, but I think they're fully HTML as oposed to your basic rich text format.

We'll have to wait and see for definite though.

You should have a copy of the newsletter first edition within the next day or two.

Alrighty. A couple of images in the newsletter, maybe some new screenshots would be a very nice touch. You guys rarely mess something up, so I'm not worried about that . I won't quote ya, but I think they'd be better as HTML. We should all be able to view HTML emails by now, rather than just text.

Out of curiosity, will this be sent to every Absolute Playstation member? Or is it opt-in/out?

It will be sent to every currently active member to start. If people want to opt out they will be able to do so.

We are starting out in a very basic way with the newsletters, as we want to make sure that we can give you a new one every week.
