Well I tried to get a bouncy castle but the only one they've got is a Disney Princess one that's like small enough to fit in the corner near the door. It's technically for like small children but about three or four of us "adults" could go on it at a time, but that's all they've got.
Personally I'm not sure I wanna be seen jumpin up and down on a child's disney princess bouncy castle, but it's up to the majority.
If I get enough yes' then I'll book it.
The guy has put it on hold until Friday, so you better all get deciding.

As for the Punch and Judy show, I'll look into it just for you Mel. I'm a very nice person aren't I?

Right I've got that Disney Princess Bouncy Castle ordered. They actually had a cancellation, luckily, so we've got one of the regular BIG bouncy castles, but it's still a Disney Princess one though
Punch and Judy show is now confirmed. Although the guy is half French so I have no idea whether he's gonna do it as Punch and Judy or Punch et Judy. So that should be an interesting surprise

Oh the round table will be difficult though. There was one but it's being used for a King Arthur Reenactment. You know, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. There are a variety of different shapes and sizes though. How does an Octagonal table measuring 10 foot (3 metres) in diameter sound? Apparently we could rent 7 tables and rent the 8th for free.

Got to tell them by tomorrow though because they need time to set up a delivery. Deliveries are starting to get VERY busy now because of Christmas time.

The less stuff in the room the better - one long table for the food - all the booze on the floor - and some tables for the dancing girls, the tree and thats it.

anything more is only something for Tiff to try and jump of the tree on to or for old charger to fall into.

as for the bouncy castle - while the idea is sound the practice is that who ever is on there with any of the ladies is going to suffer concussion...

Look I just do as I'm told. Between Mel and Jane, these ideas have all come from those two, mostly Mel though.

And as for what you said, those were the only things I could get ahold of. I know I can work miracles, but some things even Jesus couldn't pull off, so how am I supposed to pull them off?

And the Bouncy Castle, I foun out, is in fact NOT a Disney Princess one, as I was led to believe, but a Lion King one. Now Lion King I'm not too bothered about. I Think Disney Princess I would have been hesitant to go on, but Lion King I'm personally fine with.

Oh, and the King Arthur reenactment, luckily for us, was cancelled. Apparently Arthur and the Knights came down with a bout of food poisoning because they were trying to eat uncooked meat like they would have possibly done all those years ago. Well, their loss is our gain.
We now have a MASSIVE 30 foot (9 metres) Diameter round table. That will be big enough for the food, the drinks AND a section for the girls to dance on.

Am I good, or am I good? Come on, you've got to give me my due, I've managed to get what everyone wanted. Granted it took a LOT of compromise, and god only knows how many favours I've had to promise to get this sorted, but sorted it well and truly has been

Or maybe once Charger and Rory get fairly inebriated enough they can enact a Punch and Judy scene for me. I think I'd probably get a kick out of both of them.

I've already got the Punch and Judy sorted Mel. I said that er yesterday I think. It's some half-english/half-french bloke. So I'm not sure whether he's going to do the sho in english, french, or a bit of both
