Hello everyone!! Just wanted to let y'all know that I shall not be on for a few days as of tonight (probably) or tomorrow morning. I am leaving early tomorrow morning for a visit with my sisters, and shall be returning Sunday late morning/early afternoon. Can't say for sure that I will be back on Sunday, but definitely Monday.

Just be mindful of what you keep on your person and in your hand luggage at the airport re: security issues.

If you want to wear a pair of C4 shoes, or carry a selection of knives on the plane – you’ll be fine, but if you’re thinking of carrying something as dangerous as a small nail file (with a rounded edge……..not even pointed), then you’re liable to have it confiscated before you board the plane (my mum did on a recent flight to Greece).

Overcompensation can be a pain in the a$$!

Have a nice trip Speedie! I was in Arlington back in March. It was hot then. It's sure to be scorching now! Thinking about it, it couldn't be any worse than here in the Northeast. Another 90+ day with high humidity.

Had a wonderful time with my sisters!! It sure was great to see all of them again!! Everyone looks as good as the last time I saw them, and none of them seem to have aged at all!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!

When I first arrived on Wed. late morning, Sister Patricia was the only one there thus far. (Other than Vern, who is the one who lives there! hehehe)..... we went straight to lunch, then shopping (hey, we're females, we gotta shop!!!), then had pedicures!! First one I ever had, and it was lovely!! Not long after arriving back to Vern's place, the other two sisters showed up after driving from Kansas. We all piled into Vern's car and went out to dinner. (for you Californians, we had Whataburgers!! Man, it was GRRRRRREEEEEEAT!!! Haven't had one of those in ages!!)...... Back home to bed. Thursday was sunnin' at the pool, and more shopping, I made a nice lunch and Vern made a nice dinner.... just relaxing at home. Friday, we lounged by the pool a bit again, then spent the day out, shopping and eating. Went for a beautiful dinner Friday night at a wonderful restaurant, had something new.... rockfish stuffed with crab meat served on a bed of spinach. Heavenly! Then, went clubbing, got hit on by the band that was playing in one place we went to! LOL!!! They couldn't believe that we were all sisters! Learned that I like "Seabreezes"..... a lovely drink with grapefruit juice, cranberry juice and Vodka. Mmmmmm!!!!!! Saturday, the two sisters who drove in from Kansas had to leave early, so the other two and I went out for donuts (Krispy Kreme!!) and took naps, lounged by the pool wwwaaaaaayyyyy too long this time, (you all now have one burned little beenie!!), then hung out at the lake (one of them) in a bar on the water while we waited (two hours) for our table for dinner...... a large group of young men (in their 20s!!) tried to 'pick us up' 'till Patti and I showed them our wedding rings!! LOL!!!!! Had Mahi Mahi for dinner..... and two more drinks!! Wow, now I remember why I don't drink! My head was swimmin' like those little fishes in that lake! heheee....... Up at 6:00 Sunday morning to come home. Had a stop-over both ways...... but on the way home, while boarding the plane to head to Houston, I was chosen for a 'random security check'!! That was fun!!!!! I had bought sooooooooooo much stuff that the seams in my suitcase were screamin' for mercy!!! That guy went through everything!!! (including my butt-floss underwear!! no joke!)...... he had lots of fun trying to zip it back up again!! heheheee....... I was checked over from head to toe, front and back with 'the wand' then she (there was a team of two) had me sit down and take off my sandals and she checked them over, then my bare feet!! I gotta tell ya, they sure are thorough in their checks!!! I honestly didn't mind, because it was rather reasuring to see that they go through stuff so well...... no complaints here!! At least they didn't leave the re-zipping of the suitcase to me! AAHHHHH!!!!!! h34r:" class="inlineimg" /> .......

All of my flights arrived early, and it all went swimmingly!! Am now burned to a crisp and afraid to wear too much clothing, but am back to work today, so that cannot be helped...... can't go nekked!! hehehee

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, got all my hairs cut off and frosted!! aahhh!!!!! Nice and short and choppy...... very cute!

I sympathize with your luggage/body search at the airport! I had the same damn thing happen to me in March. It happened in NY at Kennedy Airport. However when flying back from Dallas/Fort Worth I was totally ignored! Go figure.

Seabreezes, huh? In some places they're called "Cape Cods" and I suppose they may be called by 100 other names, too. Good though, as I recall. It sounds like you had a lovely time, that's good. You'll see as you look around that you have plenty of work to do. The floors in the trivia threads are all messy, and all the cookie jars are empty (I suspect a ravenous "sharky-type predator", but I ain't talkin') so get at it, Missy!
