I know it was a tragic event at the Great White concert. I mean no disrespect to those who lost their lives or their loved ones. However I work in a bar and you get exposed to this stuff.

Ways it could've been worse:

BOC playing "Burning For You"
The Doors playing "Light My Fire"
Talking Heads playing "Burning Down The House"

As I said, my heart goes out to those we lost bar humor just happens to be a bit on the jaded side. No offense intended.

I don't know what this Great White is that you are talking about jdm, but I too belive that humor can be applied in any situation.
The bigger the tradgedy the harder it is to find someting humours about it, but there is always something

Thumbs down

And the people that owned it, said they had no permission to use any of that. But their mannager said that they told the owners that they would be using the fireworks stuff. It's sad to see that happen to so many people.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to put my condolences out there for the survivors, and the families of the victims. I am sorry to hear of your loss.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to say that I think Jack Russell (Great White's frontman) is a pompous ass. While the flames were burning, he was able to give interviews blaming his manager, already trying to escape responsibility for what his band had done. Some notoriety on the strip and some MTV airplay does not a rockstar make........ and Jack, you still are not a rockstar. If he had fronted Led Zeppelin, he'd have turned them into a garage band, yet still maintained his arrogance.

I apologize for taking this somber occasion to rip on Jack Russell, but his name so rarely comes up (for good reason) that I must take the opportunities when they arise.

How stupid do you have to be to use pyros aka fireworks indoors I guess the managers, and the group were so f*@king high that they forgot to use there brain.
